Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was a member of One Direction. Parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on the 1st of February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own band, composed of 3 classmates. The band was dubbed White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. Although he has always been interested in music, despite his passion in it, he also wanted to be a lawyer or an physiotherapist. Part-time work in a city bakery is his very first opportunity to make money for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. That's why his group was split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they created in the year 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the contest. The group was placed in third position just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize.
