Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. She was born into the middle class family located in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that was a gift from her mother, she also enjoyed watching films. Paula was involved in the co-curricular activities of her school and especially captivated by drama. She was a member of her class and took part in the school productions. She performed in numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as her career. She was enrolled in the University of Southern Calif's Summer program and enjoyed the experience to death. She was assigned a 3 month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. She started as an assistant to production for TV documentaries after successfully completing her task. When she was done with her work and completing her documentary, she began producing films. She still had a dream to be an actor, even though she was satisfied at her work. She began her acting career with a small part in the film romantic comedy Hitch, alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has played in numerous popular films and television programs.
